“How to Ask Someone If They Are Thinking About Suicide”
As someone who has been suicidal, this approach would have been amazing to receive.

“Lethal Means Reduction” – From the Cal-MAP
When in a hospitalization situation, this is one of the steps the social worker reaches out to someone to ensure before sending the patient home
“My Safety Plan”
When someone is hospitalized for mental health, the final step before being sent home is writing a Safety Plan, at least in my experience. Unfortunately this resource is not usually created until after it would have been most useful. This website offers an online step by step interactive guide to make safety plan or a printable blank version.
“Suicide Is Different”
This webpage provides a toolkit for caregivers of those struggling with suicide. Very well put together!

“Why You Shouldn’t Be Afraid to Talk About Suicide”

“12 Do’s and Don’ts of Helping Someone With Anxiety”
Very well written. As someone who has had many people not respond like this, this would have been so helpful for them to have known.

“Helping Someone with PTSD”
Very well written. It would be great if more people knew to respond like this.
